My name is Jeremie Averous

Jeremie AverousBorn in 1972, citizen of France, I am happily married with 3 young children. I currently live in Singapore.

After evolving from civil servant to employee, I am now an entrepreneur and businessman. I have created my first companies in 2011 – a consultancy company: Project Value Delivery (which is my main activity up to now), and a publishing company, Fourth Revolution. In 2015 I have created with some friends another company, ProjectAppServices, to supplement our offer to companies that execute projects around the world. You can look at my latest activities and we can link on LinkedIn.

An engineer by initial training, I have worked as senior executive in the French civil service in the field of nuclear safety, and have been involved as senior adviser to the French Minister of Ecology and Sustainable Development. Until 2011 I was employed in a leading offshore construction contractor for the Oil & Gas Industry. I have lived and worked in various countries, hence an international outlook: France, USA, Chile, Germany, Malaysia, and now Singapore.

I am keen on all innovative technologies in particular in the field of organizations leadership and management. I am a certified coach, as well as an experienced facilitator and trainer. I train high potentials in particular in interpersonal and personal soft skills.

What brought me to the Fourth Revolution concept

Intrigued by some changes of today’s world in 2010-2011, I have done some research and this has convinced me that the current times are not just normal changes, just a bit quicker than before.

It is a true step change, a real change in Civilization. This is why I believe the Fourth Revolution is a viewpoint useful to take, and to discuss.

The concept of the Fourth Revolution is not original, but I believe all it’s consequences have not really been understood in all it’s dimensions. My research and hopefully your contributions will help us all understand it better.

Actually it is necessary to look at this Revolution in the eye and lean into the change rather than resist it.

Revolutions are periods of anxiety and uncertainty. But for those that are able to take them, they are also great times of opportunity. Let’s shape the world as we wish it to be. Let’s ourselves thrive through the Fourth Revolution.

Since 2011, this blog examines and reports on the Fourth Revolution, in addition to more reflections of a personal nature. Because, beyond theorizing, I have jumped into what I believe will be the new business model and activity framework of the Fourth Revolution.
