This is the End…

After 11.5 years and 1785 posts I have decided to move on and to close out the Fourth Revolution blog.

From time to time it is good to review one’s activities and decide what to keep and what to stop, and I have decided that this marvelous blog was something I needed to move on from.

I will find alternate ways to publish references, views and opinions.

In the meantime do not hesitate to contact me at jeremie.averous – at – gmail.com!

All the best to you in this incredible Fourth Revolution world

The Welcome Complexity Manifesto is Published

I am very proud to announce the publication of the Welcome Complexity Manifesto (in French only at this time, the English version is under checking and should be released soon).

This manifesto is a collective effort spearheaded by Michel Paillet. Welcome Complexity is a non profit organisation under creation in France with the aim to provide resources and tools to deal with the increasing complexity of our world. It is deeply rooted in academic research and regroups also a number of professionals that are actively helping organisations deal with those challenges.

The manifesto ambitions to clarify the problems at stake and gives direction for action.

Welcome Complexity is now working on a Body of Knowledge book that ambitions to give practical tools and advice to tackle the most complex problems of our current world.

A must-read manifesto available worldwide on all e-bookshops. It is sold at the minimum zero-margin price. Here are the links for Amazon.fr:

Enjoy the read as much as I enjoyed helping publishing it!

Fourth Revolution’s 1000th post!

I can’t quite believe it but according to the site statistics, this is our 1000th post!

1000-postsWhat a journey from humble beginnings on October 11, 2010! And I am so pleased and proud to share with you, at the rythm of 3 posts per week.

There have been ups and downs along the way but as I find it useful even personally to sit down from time to time to develop my thoughts on what happens to the world I will certainly countinue for a long time sharing them with you!

I certainly hope we will continue together to explore the Fourth Revolution and what it implies for our daily lives.

Fourth Revolution is not just thoughts and a blog. It is also a company in Singapore with the ambition to actively change things. We are doing that on our scale through our investments and activities. Because in the Fourth Revolution, we also need to experiment and act. And we learn better thus.

Long live the Fourth Revolution.

The Fourth Revolution Blog new design – we become mobile!

After 5 years it was time to improve the Fourth Revolution blog‘s design and functionalities.

We’ve just changed the Fourth Revolution blog’s presentation, because we need to adjust to the times! The new site’s design is sleek and ready for mobile, i.e. it adapts nicely to various screen sizes.

All the historical posts are still there and available, so you can still go and discover the Fourth Revolution’s 750++ posts since we started end 2010.

We have also retired the old Fourth Revolution website, but it remains accessible through the menu on the left if you want to access all the documentation and presentation we’ve uploaded there in 2010-2012.

Enjoy the blog visit!

Update after a Technical Glitch for Email Subscribers

I was just made aware of a technical glitch that affected our feed and our email subscribers since Nov 7. This is now solved. Here are the great posts since that date that you might have missed:

Or visit simply the blog page.

Apologies for this glitch, I had to remove a post which apparently contained a character that was not recognized by the feed processor.

Have a great week ahead!

Kudos to Olivier Lareynie for highlighting the issue!

Fourth Revolution’s blog 500th post!

I can’t even believe it but the statistics on the website can’t lie: this is Fourth Revolution’s 500th blog post!

500th postOur adventure started in October 2010 during the research for the book “the Fourth Revolution”. And it continued ever since, with a steady rhythm of 3 posts a week.

I do realize that I got better at writing and although there has been some times where I almost stopped, I am continuing on. In part, it is because of the interaction, and in part, because it is a sanity exercise for me to stand back from daily grind, do some research and to write about the great stuff I find about how the world changes.

So, let’s celebrate with the 12 most successful posts so far in the history of the blog!
